Research Analyst
The Research Analyst will analyse major issues and trends pertaining to the arts in Australia and develop recommendations based on extensive and targeted research and evaluation.
What you will be doing
The Research Analyst will contribute to the setting of the Australia Council’s strategic priorities through a focused research program, including data collection, statistical analysis and issues/sector analysis, particularly in relation to digital media. You will provide research and analysis in response to Council and/or government requests for information on significant artform, cross-artform and cross-sector issues, and in support of new policy proposals.
You will be responsible for managing key research and evaluation projects, including externally generated and/or commissioned research and analysis projects.
You will be required to develop and maintain productive relationships with key government and arts sector research stakeholders. You will also need to maintain an overview on, and monitor the progress of key research and analysis projects being undertaken within the Australia Council, and participate as an effective member of relevant cross-organisational and cross-functional research and evaluation teams.
What you can expect
A commencement salary of $A69,168 per annum (plus superannuation).
