International Research Liaison Officer, Impacts 08, University of Liverpool
You’ll be involved in developing the international legacy of the Impacts 08 capital of culture research programme, co-ordinating knowledge transfer workshops and contributing to reporting for the European Commission. This is an opportunity with significant international cultural policy implications. Under supervision, you’ll be adapting the Impacts 08 research framework into an international model that can be replicated by future European Capitals of Culture, as well as other cities assessing the impact of major cultural initiatives. You’ll have a degree, experience of co-ordinating quantitative and qualitative research projects, and a good understanding of the cultural sector and event impact methodologies. The post is available for 10 months.
