Editor - Culture 360
The Cultural Exchange department of the Asia-Europe Foundation is looking for a virtual editor to proofread and edit online content for the cultural portal culture360.org.
The ideal candidate will edit all the content that will be published on the online portal Culture360. At the same time, the editor will give guidelines on the style of the content and will coordinate the contacts with the journalists and contributors of the website.
The successful candidate will have the following profile:
- 2 to 4 years copy editing experience for online content, magazines and newspapers
- Native English speaker
- Relevant experience with cultural sector web content
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in different levels of copy editing, from light editorial proof reading to substantive copy editing where a level of judgment and rewriting is involved.
- Extremely deadline-oriented
- Proficiency in other European and Asian languages would be beneficial.
This is a part time position offered with a freelance contract – virtual based.
The editor will be required to work in close coordination with the ASEF Cultural Exchange department and the Culture 360 project executive.
Remuneration will range from 2000 to 2500 SGD
