Senior Programme Adviser: Pacific Arts (Wellington)
As a member of the Arts Development Team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering sector wide, pan artfrom and artform development programmes and initiatives, including project funding. This includes substantial support and advisory functions to the arts boards and assessment committees and management of the Pacific Arts Committee. This is a national role, meeting with Pacific Arts stakeholders across New Zealand. You will take overall responsibility for managing specific Pacific Arts initiatives or schemes, develop programmes and undertake research on Pacific Arts issues. To succeed in this role you must have:
knowledge of Pacific communities and Pacific arts issues
excellent skills in written English
an ability to manage and evaluate programmes
project management skills
proven stakeholder relationship skills
strategic skills
a commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
