Creative New Zealand (the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa) is the national arts development organisation, supporting, promoting and advocating for the arts and artists in New Zealand. Creative New Zealand receives funding from the New Zealand Lottery Grants Board and directly from the Government through Vote: Culture and Heritage.

An opportunity has arisen within Creative New Zealand for an experienced Administrator to join the Business Services team in their Wellington office.
Administrator
As a member of the Grants and Process team, you will assist with administering the grants and assessment processes of the organisation, including project funding and other initiatives, assessment processes and funding meetings of boards and panels. You will be responsible for database maintenance and data entry, organising travel and accommodation and setting up meetings.
You will have excellent organisational and customer service skills and the ability to meet deadlines, and plan ahead. You will have initiative, be proactive, and team focused.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence with using databases are essential. Experience with Access would be an advantage.
Your duties will include:
• Funding round administration
• Coordination of panels membership and meetings
• Maintenance of the Grants database
• Provision of support to the Grants and Process Adviser
