Arts Development Officer, Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum
Cultural ServicesArts Development Officer £22,664 - £25,146 per annum (pro rata) 22.2 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable, experienced and highly motivated individual to join the Heritage & Arts team based at Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum in Royal Leamington Spa’s historic Royal Pump Rooms.
You will be responsible for leading on the implementation of Warwick District Council’s newly adopted Arts Strategy 2009 – 2013 within the wider framework of the Council’s current Corporate Strategy.
You should be an experienced arts manager able to work with artists and arts providers to promote the continuing development of the arts sector within the district. You should have a track record of working with artists, arts organisations, community groups and creative businesses, with experience of managing budgets, fundraising and evaluating outcomes. You must be focused, mobile, flexible, well organised, enjoy working alone or as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
