Research analyst, research and strategic analysis
What you will be doing
The Australia Council for the Arts has a national and international leadership role in undertaking, commissioning and making available robust research, data, analysis and information that will inform the strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and advocacy work of the council and the wide arts community.
The research analyst is required to undertake analysis of major issues and trends in the arts and cultural fields and develop recommendations based on extensive and targeted research and evaluation.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in similar research and analysis roles, as well as a broad interest in and knowledge of arts and culture, including knowledge and understanding of current issues.
What you can expect
A total remuneration package of $90,000 – $95,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
Selection criteria
Highly developed analytical, research, evaluation and problem solving skills including research methodologies, interpreting and analysing data and financial and market analysis.
Broad interest in and knowledge of arts and culture including knowledge and understanding of current issues.
Highly developed written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex ideas.
Highly developed project and contract management skills.
Ability to deal with and prioritise a high workload and juggle competing demands.
