Development Director
An experienced development professional is required to work with the Artistic Director/Chief Executive to develop and execute the fundraising strategy for the Norfolk & Norwich Festival in order to secure maximum support from companies, individuals, trusts and foundations and, where appropriate, UK and European public funding sources ensuring that the organisation has the resources to achieve its aims and ambitions.
Norfolk & Norwich Festival is the international arts festival for the East of England. The last 3 years have seen massive growth including a 400% increase in audiences, a turnover rising to £2m and an expanded artistic programme including Contemporary Art Norwich, the region’s international visual arts biennial; the internationally acclaimed EASTinternational exhibition and the Norfolk Open Studios scheme. NNF is also the deliverer of Creative Partnerships Norfolk, building on its two successful years’ delivery of CP in Great Yarmouth. Delivery in 45 schools across the county of Norfolk will commence in January 2009. Norfolk & Norwich Festival is committed to making a deeper, more significant impact throughout the year and throughout the region.
