Looking for a passionate and creative Chief Executive who can lead Greentop Circus towards its next stage of development as the premier centre for contemporary circus in the north of England.
Greentop Circus Centre is a fully equipped circus training facility situated in the east end of Sheffield. It provides facilities that are accessible to a diverse range of people including professional performers, children and young people, members of the public, businesses and other organisations.
Its services include: circus training, workshops, corporate entertainment, team building, the Sheffield Youth Circus and a full time accredited foundation course in circus and performance.
This is a challenging job that will incorporate charitable activities and commercial business development.
The ideal applicant will be experienced in strategic planning, management, fundraising, marketing, communications and business development. They will have an understanding of the voluntary and community sector but also possess sound business acumen.
The role will involve managing a major capital build, extending educational provision and developing commercial services.
An interest in the performing arts and contemporary circus is desirable.
Greentop is based in Sheffield - a vibrant, friendly city which is undergoing unprecedented urban redevelopment. The arts and creative sector is strong in the city and it is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking countryside in the UK.
