Culture, sport and volunteering coordinator, Podium, 2012 Games
Podium, the Further and Higher Education Unit for the 2012 Games, is entering its second phase following a successful 18 month initiation period. We are seeking a highly motivated individual, with a strong interest in sport, volunteering and culture, for this exciting new position which focuses on the role that FE and HE have to play within these crucial Games-related areas.
Working to develop and implement vital project management for a variety of schemes and also to lead collaboration for Podium, you will be the recognised point of contact for FE/HE interests and will develop and manage key relationships with numerous and diverse stakeholders.
Equally effective working independently and as part of a team, your excellent time management and organisational skills will be essential for managing a variety of tasks and projects to both a high standard and to deadline. Superior communication and interpersonal skills are key requirements of the role and previous knowledge of or work experience in the FE and/or HE sectors would be a strong advantage.
The role requires travel within the UK (and possibly overseas) as well as attendance at events outside of normal working hours.
£29,600 - £35,914 pa inc LW
