Turning Point National Coordinator
This role is a fixed term post that has been created to deliver two major national projects in response to Turning Point, Arts Council England's 10 year strategy to develop the visual arts (published 2006). The postholder will map and then develop recommendations for building and consolidating national provision for visual artists. They will also support the set up of visual arts regional groups by facilitating national coordination and information-sharing e.g. on-line. They will advise on developing appropriate projects to encourage partnership working and the strengthening of the visual arts sector. The successful candidate will have strong project management and communications skills, experience of working with artists and an interest in visual arts infrastructure throughout the English regions.
