Capital Projects Officer
Manage a client portfolio of capital projects in the Arts Council's Arts development department.
Principal Duties:
• To manage a client portfolio in relation to Capital Projects;
• to participate effectively as a member of client capital project teams;
• to liaise with clients’ architects, consulting engineers, contractors and statutory bodies engaged in various projects;
• to attend meetings with clients and other key stakeholders, monitoring that the projects are being delivered on time and within budget;
• to ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with DCAL and the Council’s conditions for funding;
• to keep the Council’s Senior Management informed of all progress in relation to the projects in hand;
• to advise and guide clients where necessary on Council procedures with regard to capital funding;
• to advise clients on the production of funding submissions at each stage of the capital project and in submitting progress returns to the Council;
• to advise Council officers on client applications for funding;
• to support the implementation of the Council’s policy in relation to equality of opportunity;
• to undertake any other appropriate duties which may reasonably be allocated from time to time.
