Head of Internal and Change Communications

We are looking for a new Head of Internal and Change Communications to drive all employee engagement activity. Reporting to the Executive Director of Advocacy and Communications, and managing one Internal Communications Officer, you will be responsible for developing major change programmes linked to the core business plan, and rolling these out across our large and complex organisation. Working with the CEO and senior management, you will develop and run internal communications strategies aimed at maximising engagement through the development of a range of channels, messages and processes.

You will be an experienced internal and change communications specialist with the credibility to deal with and advise stakeholders at all levels. You must have worked to develop and manage a range of traditional and new media channels and be aware of the potential of these as tools to engage employees in the business strategy and organisational change. You will have a proven track record in project and people management and have the ability to engage audiences through internal communications channels, working with leaders to create conversations with staff about the work of the organisation and where they fit in. Having worked with both traditional and new media tools, you’ll understand the benefits and challenges of strategic and ‘business as usual’ communication and collaborative working across a geographically-dispersed organisation.

If you are passionate about internal communications and have a strong background in driving change, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a national cultural organisation at a crucial time.
