Project Manager

The Australia Council for the Arts is seeking an experienced Project Manager, Research and Evaluation, to join the Community Partnerships and Market Development division.
In this role you will work in consultation with others throughout the organisation, and with external partners and stakeholders, to identify emerging issues, to analyse issues and trends affecting the arts, and to develop a strategic divisional response.
Salary range of $86,000 to $93,000 based on skills, knowledge and experience including employer contribution to superannuation.
Selection criteria:

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in arts in Australia.
  • High-level experience in a government/public policy environment.
  • Knowledge of one or more policy areas including economics, social and human services, creative industries, market research and innovation.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to enable quick and effective grasp of data in a wide range of topics.
  • High-level of expertise in developing advice and options for decision-making, based on research and evaluation.
  • High-level written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills – ability to maintain productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Highly developed project and contract management skills.
