Research Contract: Vital Communities Project
Research Contract: Vital Communities (up to £30,000) Applications from experienced researchers (organisations, academic institutions, individuals) are now invited for the Research Study (Phase 2) to take forward the work with the children, families and communities participating in the Vital Communities project. This research study will aim to measure the impact of the creative programme upon child, family and community development. It will investigate whether the arts have a positive impact on the aspirations, achievement and attitudes of the nine individual Vital Communities locations across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Amongst the objectives are to: * Produce quantitative measurement of the impact of participation in the arts * Make a positive contribution to knowledge and understanding of the impact of the arts in a community context * Make a positive contribution to knowledge and understanding of the impact of the arts in an individual context * Produce a body of research (relying on quantitative and qualitative evidence) that makes a significant impact at regional, national and international level * Disseminate the findings of this project to a wide and academic audience.
