Invitation for Expressions of Interest
Invitation for Expressions of Interest to develop a “Cultural Planning Toolkit” Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably experienced and qualified consultants to research and develop a suite of tools to help spatial and cultural planners to assess cultural infrastructure need, plan for its provision and secure appropriate funding mechanisms for its delivery. The appointed contractors will research, develop and produce a national ‘Cultural Planning Toolkit’, to be developed as a web-based resource for use by planning and delivery organisations, local authorities, policy makers and development bodies in England. It will assist the planning and development of diverse and vibrant local culture to support the well-being and sustainability of new and expanding communities across the country. This is part of a broader project called “Creating Cultural Opportunity in Sustainable Communities”, supported through Round 8 of HM Treasury’s Invest to Save Budget. The project is run by a partnership including Regional Cultural Consortia, Arts Council England, the Black Country Consortium, Thames Gateway South Essex Partnership and MLA SE (representing the national MLA partnership).
