ARTS OFFICER
Arts Victoria is a division of the Department of Premier and Cabinet and is responsible for the implementation of the State Government痴 arts policy Creative Capacity+. Arts Victoria provides a range of programs which are designed to assist in the development and presentation of cultural projects, programs and services which benefit the Victorian arts industry and the community. In the role of Arts Officer you will perform a key coordination function within the Marketing and Communications Unit. A key responsibility will be to coordinate internal and external communications and publications as required, including writing, editing and proofreading. In addition you will prepare draft media releases and messages and provide general administration support to the Unit. To undertake the role of Arts Officer you will possess high level communication skills, both written and interpersonal. You will have demonstrated ability in communications activities, including familiarity with policy communications, media liaison, events, publications and e-communications.
