Senior Research and Evaluation Officer
At an exciting time for the arts in Scotland we invite you to contribute to creating a confident cultured Scotland where everyone takes part in the arts. Working as part of our Planning and Research Team, you will manage a small team and take the lead role in developing and managing a robust and responsive research and evaluation service which will support an evidence based approach to arts policy and planning and set high quality standards for the arts sector. You will have substantial experience of commissioning research and managing research services including developing and implementing evaluation processes. You will also have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of research methodologies combined with a good awareness of public policy in Scotland and research institutions in the UK. Experience of developing evaluation frameworks, managing staff and developing and managing effective artnerships and joint projects are essential. Closing date is at 12 noon This post qualifies to join the Scottish Arts Council’s final salary non-contributory pension scheme.
