Consistently ranked among the top courses in the UK, the programmes have recently expanded and many new innovations in teaching, research, practice and continuing professional development are in progress. The incumbent will consolidate subject and interdisciplinary initiatives which are already underway and will lead the teams into the next phase of development. Applicants should demonstrate leadership experience, enthusiasm, energy, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to innovate. Applicants will have strong links with arts and creative industries in London, and will be required to promote our initiatives nationally and internationally. Applicants should also have a powerful research and/or practice background and sound experience of Higher Education. Responsibilities will include overseeing teaching, research and consultancy, student learning and support, and the organisation of Performing Arts, Theatre and Film Studies programmes.
