Creative New Zealand is currently seeking an Assistant Arts Adviser - Dance, Theatre and Pacific Arts - to provide support to senior Arts Advisors in the delivery of services to Creative New Zealand’s customers and stakeholders.
Areas of responsibility include:
Customer Service;
Arts Advice;
Projects and Initiatives;
Arts Strategy Development;
Relationship Management; and
Maori Responsiveness
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience, understanding and ability in the following:
Arts practice, planning, administration or management;
Understanding of government policies and processes relating to arts access, participation, professional practice and arts development; and
Appreciation of issues influencing arts development in New Zealand, with particular understanding of one or more artform areas.
At least an undergraduate qualification or equivalent in one or more of the following – a specific artform area, social sciences, arts management or policy analysis - is required.
