Programme Director - Landscape and Environment
The Programme Director will be expected to provide intellectual leadership and academic coherence in the development of the programme. Responsibilities will include: developing and managing the programme, building on discussions with the arts and humanities research community; advising on monitoring and evaluation issues; promoting communication and outreach to engage researchers and a wider public; and producing final publications that will contribute to an overall evaluation of the programme. This is a senior position (professorial level or equivalent) which will be part-time (50%) over a period of 5 years. The successful candidate will be expected to have an outstanding track record of research and leadership in a relevant area of the arts or humanities as well as excellent management and communication skills. The appointment will be funded via an AHRB grant made to a UK Higher Education Institution, and the post holder will remain in her/his current institution.
