Chair
Arts Council England, Yorkshire is looking for a new, high profile and dynamic Chair from January 2005. The new Chair will be a member of the national Arts Council and the Chair of a 15 strong regional council, which includes representatives from the arts, business, education and local government. The new Chair should have a good knowledge and understanding of the arts, be a strategic thinker, an effective decision-maker and be able to act as an advocate for the arts. The appointment will be for a four year period and the Chair would be expected to spend up to 30 days a year on the role, including at least five meetings a year of both national and regional Arts Councils.
