Director of Corporate Services
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland invites applications for the post of Director of Corporate Services. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the direction and management of the Corporate Services Department, which provides finance, human resource, office management, health and safety, purchasing, publications and ICT services for the Arts Council. The Director will ensure the proper conduct of the Arts Council’s financial affairs through the provision of effective financial systems and support, and assist with the planning and implementation of the organisation’s strategies. Candidates must have a university degree or professional qualification of an equivalent or higher standard and a relevant professional qualification in accountancy, finance or human resources. They must have at least three years’ full-time experience gained within the last five years at a senior level, and practical experience of the key areas within the remit of Corporate Services. In addition, they must have an understanding of public sector financial structures and management, experience of managing staff, excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to the planning and implementation of an organisation’s strategy and policies.
