Formed as a non-building based flagship organisation, the National Theatre aims to collaborate with exciting theatres and venues to enhance the profile of Scottish talent and bring world-class national and international productions to Scottish audiences. The Chairman and Board are seeking an inspirational Director who will lead the development of the National Theatre, setting and implementing a vision that will fulfil the expectations of the many stakeholders involved. The successful candidate will have an international reputation in theatre at a high level and a track record in commissioning or creating innovative product for small to large-scale venues. He or she will be a motivational leader with political and diplomatic skills and a proven ability to build effective and lasting partnerships.
