Documentation Assistant
UCL art collections has important holdings of art which include European prints, drawings, paintings and sculpture from c. 16th – 20th century and the Slade School of Fine Art’s unique collection of student prize paintings, drawings and prints. As the first stage of a 3 year initiative to make all of UCL’s collections available online we wish to appoint a documentation assistant to upgrade the UCL Art Collections database. We are looking for an highly motivated and well-organised person with a meticulous and accurate approach to recording data who will be responsible for inputting collections records from paper accession registers and editing existing electronic collections records to ensure consistency. 35 hours per week 9 month fixed-term contract Salary £12,447 p.a. pro rata plus £2,134 London Weighting
