The New Writing Partnership is an exciting new initiative based in Norwich. It will create a focus for emerging writing talent in the UK, and make the city a gathering point for writers from all over the world. The initiative will include the following key elements: * International Writers Seminar to include a programme of public events * A competition to source and promote the best writing * An annual platform for new writers The Director will play a pivotal role in the successful development of this project in its initial phase and beyond, implementing the systems and activities that will fundementally shape the future direction of this project. The successful applicant will have significant experience and knowledge of management within the arts sector, combined with particular interest in literature and emerging writing. S/he will be able to combine the ability to develop a strategic vision for the New Writing Partnership alongside the practical management skills to deliver an ongoing programme of events and activities. This is a full time post which demands energy, imagination and commitment to the development of the partnership as an internationally recognised centre of excellence for both established and new writing.
