Arts Council England, East Midlands wish to contract a consultant with experience in the arts and health sector in order to develop a strategic action plan which will cover the period between 2004 and 2006/7. The field of arts and health represents a potential major growth area for arts organisations and individual artists, but will present a number of challenges. Arts Council England, East Midlands building on a regional Arts and Health audit of activity in 2002, now need to develop a framework document to inform policy and action to make the most of the exciting opportunities available in this region. The fee available for this consultancy will be in the area of £10,000. Expected delivery of the final report is anticipated for June 2004.
