Director
The Director is responsible for enacting the strategic direction and operations of the organisation, ensures that the goals of the organisation are realised and provides leadership to the organisation in collaboration with the Management Committee. The Director * leads QCAN in it's on-going development as a learning organisation; * fosters the integrity of the organisation internally and externally, and promotes the values of the organisation accordingly; promotes the practices, philosophies and theory of community cultural development at regional, state and national levels; * advocates for the cultural self-determination of communities; * advocates for the ccd sector at an industry level, and to sectors beyond the arts; * ensures the viability and sustainability of the organisation, its staff and members; * ensures the organisation responds to its priorities
