Chief Executive

The East of England Museums Libraries and Archives Council (EEMLAC) is to become fully operational this year and is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive who will lead this new strategic cultural agency. The successful candidate will be dynamic, will have exceptional political and advocacy skills, and be able to rapidly assimilate knowledge of the sector in the East of England. Working experience within this sector is not essential, but the ability to inspire and to operate strategically at regional, national and international level is essential. Building on existing achievements you will be expected to work closely with the Chair and Board. You will be prepared to travel, and to demonstrate the ability to work effectively with government bodies at national and regional levels, and with the European cultural sector. Contract: 5 years fixed term (renewable)
