Associate Head of School of Cultural Studies
The organisation are seeking an experienced and innovative teacher, researcher and administrator to join the highly successful School of Cultural Studies at UWE. As Associate Head of School, for an initial period of three years, you will contribute to its management at a senior level. You will work with a team of 24 specialist staff who research and teach a wide range of specialisms in Cultural, Media and Film Studies, encompassing theory and practice. You will work closely with the Head of School in leading and managing the School's wide range of activities. This will include: ensuring the quality and development of the School's curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment; the marketing of the School's activities; and you may contribute to research leadership. The successful candidate will also contribute to the School's teaching and research in an area of Media, Cultural or Film Studies, including media practice, while having a broad understanding of the field as a whole. The organisation seek someone with the skill, imagination and motivation to help consolidate the School's success and to contribute to its next phase of development.
