Australia's flagship youth theatre is searching for an Artistic Director/CEO to lead the company into the next phase of its life. atyp is the largest youth theatre in the world, with an annual turnover of $1.5 million. 6000 young people aged between three and 26 are involved in its work each year. It offers a comprehensive workshop program, creates productions, runs regional residencies around Australia and mounts national and international projects. It is based at The Wharf in Sydney with a fulltime staff of seven. The Artistic Director reports to a Board of Directors. The successful applicant will be a leader in their field and have significant experience in the performing arts. You will be attuned to arts practice with young people and skilled at articulating and delivering the company's vision to all stakeholders, including young people and their families, government, corporate partners and other aligned organisations and supporters.
