Project Manager (Presentation)

To manage the successful delivery of select projects from project brief stage to installation (and removal if appropriate), including responsibility for budgets. Key responsibilities: 1. To prepare project schedules and plan financial estimates and resources required from contractors and Museum technical and specialist staff. 2. To contribute to the selection process of outside designers for nominated projects, and, once selected, to manage the contract to ensure successful delivery. 3. To ensure mechanisms and processes are in place to maximise the effectiveness of the project. 4. To develop teams. 5. To learn from previous projects whether managed in the department or elsewhere in the Museum. 6. To ensure all projects delegated to the team are completed on schedule and within budget. 7. To manage project administration, including financial records and reports and evaluation of completed work.
