Head, Business Affairs & Legal Services
Under the direction of the Commissioner and the joint functional supervision of the Directors General, English Program, French Program and Distribution, manages the Business Affairs and Legal Services: gives advice, develops model agreements and participates in the negotiation of national and international co-production, distribution, presale and funding agreements, and ensures that the parties comply with the agreements; acts as legal counsel and administers the legal services for the National Film Board; maintains good business relations with partners in the various fields; performs any other duties assigned by the Commissioner.
