Director
The organisation exists to help poetry thrive in Britain today. One of the country's key arts organisations, we have over 3,000 members, receive more than 400,000 monthly hits to our website, publish the UK's best-selling poetry magazine, Poetry Review, co-ordinate National Poetry Day and other innovative campaigns, run a major education programme, competitions, the Poetry Studio and the Poetry Café. Do you have the skills we need to lead this high profile and dynamic organisation? You will be an experienced, efficient and visionary arts manager - in Britain or abroad - with a thorough knowledge of the literature scene, a real enthusiasm for poetry and a track record of successful fundraising; a sound administrator with the ability to communicate with the wide range of constituencies who care about poetry, and the media skills to front an organisation which is often in the news.
