Do you have the passion to succeed in the most powerful industry in the world? Could you meet the exciting challenge of driving the film and television industry in Northern Ireland on to greater heights? *The NIFTC's mission is to accelerate the development of dynamic and sustainable film and television industry in Northern Ireland by integrating industrial, educational and cultural policies and actions. It has a current budget of £2m per annum and has now embarked on an ambitious programme of expansion, which will require significant additional funds from Government to complete. *The Chief Executive will implement a vision of the positive impact on the industry can make both on the economy and on the international image of Northern Ireland. The successful applicant candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of policy and strategic plans; advocacy to agencies in Northern Ireland and in GB, and with film agencies in the UK and in Northern Ireland. *You will currently be operating at a senior executive level with at least five years' management experience; you will have broadly based planning, marketing, media and people management skills. You will have a thorough knowledge of film or television production; some knowledge of the public sector structures of Northern Ireland; and a thorough grasp of the development challenges facing the industry in Northern Ireland; Entrepreneurial, with drive and vision, you will have a track record of achievement and you will be a first class communicator.
