New Director at Conca

Norbert Tomàs was appointed as new director of the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CoNCA), replacing Pep Montes. The appointment has raised some doubts in the cultural sector about the political independence of Conca. Florenci Guntín, one of the promoters for the Visual Artists Association and the Platform for an Arts Council, yesterday said he was outraged by this appointment.
