Chilean President Bachelet opts for culture

Bachelet is doing everything possible to put Chile's culture on the map, on a small scale in her own country, with programmes like Creando Chile en mi barrio, which started in 2007. This year the over-all culture budget was increased by 38.6%, while an additional 126% was added to this specific project.
