The end of 'the two cultures'

A paper recently presented by the European Cultural Parliament, in which culture is placed 'at the heart of a knowledge-based economy', indicates why the polarisation between the sciences and culture and the arts is bogus. Of course they are different, and policies that do not recognise this are so 20th century.
