Report launched on culture and politics
A new report on culture will be launched this week in London. John Holden will be presenting his new thesis, Cultural Value and the Crisis of Legitimacy, which explores culture, politics and the public. The report asks why culture needs a democratic mandate, how it needs to be implemented by understanding policiticians, and how much political support the arts really gets. The report will be launched on the 29th March 2006, by the English Culture Minister, David Lammy MP. For more information, CLICK HERE.
