Namibia launches National Heritage Council

The National Heritage Council for Namibia was recently opened by John Mutorwa, the Minister of Youth, National Service, Sport and Culture. It will promote the country's heritage, as well as developing community information and education programs. The council will also advise the Minister on any issues of heritage protection.
