NYSAWC Publishes Set of Workspace Residency Guides
The New York State Artist Workspace Consortium (NYSAWC), 10 organisations in New York, has published two handbooks for artists and arts organisations. The books are designed to create benchmarks for organisations to create successful residency experiences. The Artist Workspace Residency: A Guide for Artists gives information on how to present one's self at the worplace, how to make the residency increase the opportunities given to them, and more. The Artist Workspace Residency: A Guide for Arts Organizations gives organisations information on how to design residencies, how to give the participants new skills and tools to use those skills, and more.
