NCA responds to migration plans
National Campaign for the Arts members in England were sought to respond to proposals made by the Home Office, which may prevent visiting artists from migrating to the area. The organisation sought responses after the Home Office released its immigration strategy, Making migration work for Britain. In the plan, visas would no longer be dealt with in groups, meaning bands or casts would have to apply separately, raising the cost of touring. And if one artist is refused entry, then the rest of the group may have to cancel their tour. For more information, CLICK HERE.
