Fifth Asian Chapter Meeting
Delegates from IFACCA members across six Asian countries gathered in Ulaabaatar, Mongolia, on 30-31 July for the fifth IFACCA Asian Chapter meeting. Hosted by Arts Council Mongolia, and chaired by Lee Suan Hiang, CEO National Arts Council of Singapore, the meeting provided a chance for delegates to present updates on initiatives in their countries, to discuss IFACCA initiatives such as forthcoming mini summits and the World Summit in South Africa, and to consider special projects for possible development by the Asian Chapter. Other activities included a reception to meet Mongolian arts leaders, visits to key Mongolian culture agencies, and a nomadic culture tour.
