III Forum Valpo 2010
Eva Ayllón, Roberto Bravo, Los Jaivas, Pedro Aznar, Tito Beltrán and the San Carlo Choir (Naples) are new additions to the official program.
Forum Valpo2010 Executive Secretary announced that the closing ceremony will move from December 4 to December 5 in order not to coincide with Teletón 2010’s closing ceremony.
More than 200 cultural and musical activities, nearly 1000 foreign and national artists will hit the stage, during 45 days (22 October to 5 December), in the recently inaugurated “Espacio Forum” in Valparaiso. This is a multicultural international event, funded by Fundación Forum Universal de las Culturas Barcelona, Chile’s Bicentennial Commission and UNESCO that will be carried out in South America for the first time. Previously it was organized in Monterrey, México (2007) and Barcelona, Spain (2004).
Fundación Forum Barcelona appointed as venues for the Forum’s 2016 edition, Amman, Jordania and Quebec, Canada. These appointments will be made official during the closing ceremony of the III Forum Valparaiso 2010 in Plaza Sotomayor, on 5 December at 20:00.
