The role of culture in local development strategies
The objective of the seminar is to explore the relation between urban development strategies and the local policies for culture.
The seminar will include presentations of significant experiences of UEMOA cities by Mayors, presidents of Parliamentary Committees on culture and ministerial officials and officers. The seminar will also include international experts as Jordi Martí, Catherine Cullen, Komlan Agbo, Ferdinand Richard, Abdoulaye Sow, Francisco d’Almeida, Eduard Miralles, Raymond Weber, Sylviane Diop and Oumar Sall.
French is the working language of the seminar.
