The UN has released its summary of the Eleventh session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (Creative Industries and Development), held in São Paulo, 13–18 June 2004. The report examines:

  • Where do developing countries fit into the picture?;
  • The policy challenges in creative industries;
  • The policy prescription in cases of significant externalities;
  • Building productive capacities;
