National Trust Heritage Lecture
ADDED ARPIL 8: PLEASE NOTE, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL LATER IN THE YEAR AND WILL NOT TAKE PLACE ON TUESDAY, APRIL 8. Indigenous activist Patrick Dodson will lead the 2003 National Trust Heritage Lecture and present a keynote address on Indigenous Heritage. The National Trust Heritage Lecture is an annual event which explores the many viewpoints of Australian heritage conservation. Past speakers include Robert Hughes, Peter Garrett and David Malouf. Pat Dodson is an active spokesperson on Indigenous Affairs and the Chairman of non-government advocacy, the Lingiari Foundation. He lives and works in Broome, Western Australia, where he is involved in matters relating to the preservation and enhancement of Indigenous rights and culture.
