The Healing Space
June 6-10, 2002 Artwork Application Deadline: May 20, 2002 The Healing Space-to be held at ARTworks!-will present the incredible response of the arts field to the events of September 11, 2001. On a broader level, it will show how the arts provide opportunities for communities to react to and heal from psychical and physical trauma. The Healing Space will feature a non-juried exhibition of art created by attendees and their communities following September 11. Americans for the Arts is also soliciting materials on arts and healing, including video responses.
