The workshop, was one of a series presented over the Forum’s three-day programme on 25-27 October 2011. Other workshop topics included Governance and Democracy; Gender and Women’s Rights; Human Rights; Climate Change, Environment and Disaster Management etc. See http://www.commonwealthfoundation.com/CPF2011. At the conclusion of the CPF, representatives of each workshop were invited to present the outcomes to the Foreign Ministers of Commonwealth countries who were also meeting in Perth in the two days leading up to CHOGM. A Commonwealth Civil Society Statement, Driving Change for a Dynamic Commonwealth, drafted by a group of civil society leaders based on Commonwealth-wide consultations that occurred during 2011, was presented to the CHOGM. Just over half the 52 members of the Commonwealth are members of IFACCA.
