Good practice guides: seeking your input
IFACCA will be writing to all its members this week, requesting input into a collection of good practice guides.
Over the past two years, IFACCA has been collecting a range of 'good practice guides' (www.ifacca.org/goodpractice/) to assist arts councils and ministries of culture to review, inform and improve their key functions. This 'good practice guides' section of our website provides links to resources published by a wide variety of organisations including arts funding agencies, private foundations, commercial publishers and by IFACCA.
We are looking for resources relating to topics including:
• running grant programs
• undertaking strategic activities (not directly related to grant giving)
• general management of arts funding agencies, and
• providing information to the arts community about marketing, governance, management, community engagement and advocacy.
You can see what type of material is already on our database, at www.ifacca.org/goodpractice/. We hope that this resource becomes a key point for sharing and promoting your activities with your colleagues. If your organisation has produced any good practice guides relating to these areas over the last five years or so, please send them by the end of March to Natasha Eves at info@ifacca.org.
